What is Vesper's IP certification?
At this time, we do not yet have an IP certificate from an independent third party. We do extensive internal testing however and have found the following:
Vesper UAV meets IP53.
Our own testing of flying in the rain and hosing down aircraft in flight have shown no effects on functionality.
Vision GCS meets IP54.
The Vision GCS was designed with a soft target of IP67 (totally sealed, no water ingress in 30 minutes under a meter of water) but we are currently comfortable guaranteeing IP54. Some units may leak with 1-meter submersion.
The waterproof field case meets IP54 when closed.
