Updating Vision1 GCS Software (QGC)
Required prior to starting:
- Vision GCS charged to 50% or higher
- USB-A thumbstick (flash drive) loaded with GCS software see Vantage Robotics Vision GCS Flash Drive updater
- USB-A to USB-C adapter
GCS Update instructions
- Turn on Vision GCS

Log in to Vision GCS
- Password: Vantage1
- Insert the Vantage Robotics GCS update Flash Drive into the USB C port on the bottom side of the Vision GCS

After inserting the Vantage Robotics GCS update Flash Drive a dialog will appear

Tap “Run” when prompted to automatically start the “GCS-SETuP” application

Tap “Yes” when asked to proceed with the GCS update

Tap the backspace key to activate the soft keyboard

Enter “Vantage1” in the Authentication Required dialog box

Tap the “Authenticate” button

A terminal window will appear with text automatically being added to the display with a “GCS Update” dialog window overlaid

Tap “Yes” when the GCS Update dialog prompts you to Proceed
- Tap "Cancel" when prompted to run the GCS update installer

Tap “OK” when the dialog states that the update requires the GCS to reboot
- Once the GCS Reboots, Pair and connect Vesper to the GCS
